Your Golden Retriever And Her Perfect Dog Temperament

What dog temperament your Golden Retriever has is partially up to you. In general, this fantastic breed is hard-wired to be even-tempered and affable. But, as with humans, nurture is as important as nature and a lot depends on how the Golden is raised.

The Golden Retriever is a devoted, intelligent, and fun-loving dog with a tremendous amount of grace.

Her strong desire to please coupled with her inherent patience and intelligence make her easily trainable.

She is loyal, confident and extremely charming. Her gentle, well-mannered disposition make her an excellent family dog.

She displays this same disposition to everyone, making her a less-than-ideal guard dog. She will however make a good watchdog and bark loudly with a stranger's approach.

Golden Retrievers need daily exercise to keep up their mental and physical prowess. This loving and truly lovable dog thrives with a consistent, confident and calm pack leader.

She will constantly strive to remind you that you are the center of her universe (as she will be the center of yours!!).

Your Golden Retriever puppy is intelligent with an amiable and fun-loving temperament, unparalleled by any other breed.
