Dog's digestive system

I have recently rescued a 4 year old golden retriever from the local dogs' home. He had a problem with fleas but this has been treated, which included cutting his coat quite short. He was previously homed with a collie who suffered the same problems.
The dog is very well-natured. I have a collie who is around the same age. Both dogs get on well and have started sharing toys, playing together and sleeping together.
I was informed the dog was fed on Bakers Complete which I use for the collie, so I continue to feed both dogs the food. This appears to be well received as both dogs consume it. Both dogs have their own bowls and their own water bowls in a separate area of the kitchen.
My only problem is the retriever has loose bowel movements. The dogs are let out first thing in the morning and last thing at night and go and do their business. The movements are not diarrhea but very loose. The variety of food I use is Lamb, rice and vegetables. The only snacks the dogs are given is bonios, mini markies or rawhide chews.
Is there anything I can do ?
