Elevated Dog Bowls

Elevated dog bowls work extremely well for many large dogs. With raised dog bowls, the dogs don't have to bend over to eat, and this makes it a lot more comfortable and easier for them. Also, in some cases dogs may have specific health problems, in which case it is even more important that they don't have to eat in an uncomfortable position.

APetProject Small Pet Food Server & Storage Box

Pawsitives:
Not only does this elevate two dog bowls, but it also includes storage for the food itself! Pretty nifty idea, isn’t it? This is terrific, since there’s always the issue of where to store your dog’s food. With this dog bowl, the dog food is kept hidden away and easily accessible. Others can use this space to store treats or toys for the dog.

Negatives:
One issue that seems to be common with raised dog bowls with storage is that when one or more of the bowls is used for water, dogs often slurp the water around the rim, possibly making the food stored in it moldy. Some solutions -- only partly fill the bowl with water, rather than filling it to the top. Or use this elevated dog feeder for food, and keep the water in a separate bowl altogether, with a protective mat under it. Or use the storage space for other things such as toys.

Pawsitives:
Customers have reported that the size of the bowls is comfortably large. Also, the assembly is easy.

Negatives:
Some users find that the stand for these dog bowls is somewhat flimsy and light.
