My baby Lady

I am 12 years old and I have the most amazing golden retriever ever, Lady.... when I was in kindergarten my parents surprised me by letting me pick whatever I wanted, and I decided a puppy. Luckily my mom's friend just had a litter of puppies that were golden retrievers. We took a drive out to where she lived and once we got there I nearly fell out of our car because I was so excited to see my soon to be puppy! Once we got inside we said our hellos and she led me to a gigantic room that was filled with dog food, water, puppy beds, and of course puppies!!!! And let me interact with the puppies and pick out the one I liked the most. All the puppies were just so cute but one just seemed the most interesting to me. She was in a purple slipper with her behind up in the air and her head inside of the slipper. Once I played with her I fell in love with her and decided that I wanted her. Once we got out of the room I told my mom and her friend that the puppy was my baby Lady. They smiled and said that is the cutest name they have ever heard! Once we got into the car Lady fell fast asleep in my lap and I fell asleep as well! Once we got home Lady was so fascinated with our house, and explored it. To this day she is a pro at frisbee, swimming, hunting, and variety of other things. She is the best dog I have had so far and will probably always be! Golden retrievers are the best dogs on the planet and the cutest! Also her nickname is Ladybugs, and I thinks she likes it! :) I hope my story inspired you to get this type of dog. Trust me, you will not be disappointed if you get a golden retriever. They are truly the best dogs ever.
