Painful pawing

by Chris Murray
(Nashville ,Tn.)

I have a 2 1/2 year old Goldie named Daisy. She has been to a trainer that taught her to sit, down, stay, come and heel. She is good with these commands but for some reason about 4 months ago she started batting at me with her front paws and it's usually a medium throw but sometimes it's a VERY hard throw over and over (say 6-8 times). She does it virtually every time I get close to her. I don't know what to do about it and because of her nails it's damaging to my skin. Plus, I have skin cancer so my skin is real easy to tear. Any help would be appreciated.
