Putting My Golden Down

My poor golden retriever is now 11 yrs old and having trouble holding his urine long enough to go out. He has just started this recently. Also he has chewed almost all his fur off from his back end. He looks horrible and I'd tried tar baths , sprays etc...I'm at a loss.

Response from Golden Retriever Magic:

It always breaks my heart to hear about Goldens not doing well. But unfortunately there comes a time for all of us, humans and Goldens alike, to bid farewell to this world. Whether it is that time for your Golden is not something anyone but you can decide.

You have been with your Golden darling for most of his life and you know him best. I am confident you will make the right decision (whichever decision it is).

Your Golden already knows how much you have loved him throughout him life and he will see this same love reflected in the decision you make at this unfortunate but inevitable juncture.

Is it time to let her go
by: Mark LaFratta

My 12 year old Golden has trouble standing up.
I repaired both her knees had bladder cleared of stones. I have taken great care of her.
I have read many articles on when it's time to let her go.
