Ruby and Jie Kie

by Margo Dunlop
(Scotland)

Ruby lived with my sister, who took great care of her, but was only among others when family visited, which was often (older children or adults).

Ruby has now come across a wonderful happening, a baby. Our three month old Grandson. He has come for Christmas, he took one look at Ruby, she took one look at him and a loving bond has been formed. She instinctively knows to approach him slowly, keep the big wagging tail away from him. He looks at her and smiles. A sight to behold. This gentle giant which we have taken to our hearts, is paying us back tenfold. I think Christmas might be Ok, after our tragic circumstances this year.
