Tessie and Sammy

My husband and I lost our special friend two years ago - she was a deep red golden, the sister of Tessie called Ruby - the most special girly you could wish for. All three of us were devastated. Tessie was very low. One day while walking Tess we had a call from a friend - she runs a rescue kennel - saying she had a golden boy in. We didn't know what to do. It felt too soon, nine months since we lost Roo, but we said ok we will come to see him. He really was a beauty. We now have him at home. Tess was 13 at the time and seemed to hate him. It was a real struggle for a few months, but with patience and much love we are a very happy family again. Goldens are like Angels in fluff, just the best friends you could wish for.
