Are Goldens easy to train or do they require a lot of work to get them to understand what you want?

Thanks for the question. Golden Retrievers are one of the most trainable breeds. They are very smart (often noted to be the third most intelligent dog breeds). That, coupled with their inherent desire to please their owners and their love for food, makes them quite easy to train.
