When to Train?

by Vikas
(Delhi, INDIA)

Bruno

Bruno

HI,

My 3 months old Golden Retriever male puppy(BRUNO) is very naughty and hyper too. But he is very intelligent and has made my family complete. But it is becoming a problem to me to get him trained. He is very stubborn and does not listen to me while I try to train him at home. He will not stop biting my ankle and hands while playing. What is the best age at which to get a Golden puppy trained?

Thanks
Vikas & Kavita

Response from Golden Retriever Magic:

Hi Vikas and Kavita,

The best time to train Bruno is NOW!! Even though he is really naughty, keep in mind that he is really smart too (just a bit headstrong at times!). He has a lot of potential to learn.

You must start training him early on and stick to it. Check out this link to learn how to start training him: http://www.golden-retriever-magic.com/free-basic-dog-training-tips.html.

At times, it will be frustrating but trust me, he will understand and learn what you are teaching him. And it's an absolutely wonderful feeling when he actually starts to do what you ask.
